Clyde Taber

From 1985 to 2000, across three continents, Clyde and his wife Shirin poured their lives into hundreds of students — because someone cared enough to do it for each of them when they were in college.

While on a trip to North Africa in 2000, Clyde (LinkedIn) met Mustafa, a student open to the Gospel because of media he found through satellite television. On the same trip, a pastor he had just met surprised Clyde by saying, “I sense the Lord is going to use you to reach millions through media.” Clyde couldn’t dismiss that God was confirming a new desire to use visual media to share the love of Christ. For the next seven years, Clyde oversaw the development of some of the most innovative media-based outreach products in the world through the JESUS Film Project. In 2006, Clyde co-founded the Visual Story Network. Clyde holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Master of Divinity / Missiology degree with honors from Denver Seminary. He speaks English, French and is 2,675 hours into learning Turkish. Here's how God got his attention while at the University of Maryland. He has been recently transformed by experiencing friendship with Jesus
